Like a mini Deepsea 🤿 at 37mm

Finally was able to try one of these, such a cool watch really compact but at 15.7mm thick the piece reminds me of my old Deepsea but scaled down, albeit the diameter is less proportionally to the thickness than the Rolex. Absolutely loved this one 😘

It's huge, but I like big watches. This particular one was already sold so I have to wait until next week for another to get shipped to my boutique. I tried to find the slightly smaller no date version but apparently that was a somewhat limited watch and

Didn't the original black dial Deepsea come out in 2008.

At a time when Offshores and Panerais were in their prime. I assume that Rolex launched the Deepsea to get a slice of the larger watch business, but I love that they didn't just build a bigger submariner (with 300m of water resistance) and call it a day.
